How Do Ductless Mini-Splits Work?
The outdoor unit houses a compressor and condenser that move heat in or out of your home depending on the season. A small conduit, carrying the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and condensate drain, connects that unit to each indoor air handler, eliminating ductwork entirely. Every indoor unit has its own thermostat for room-by-room temperature control, and inverter technology lets the compressor adjust speed precisely to match demand rather than running at full power and cycling off, which can cut energy use and help keep comfort consistent.
Factory-Trained Installation by Elite Diamond Technicians
Getting installation right from the start matters as much as the equipment itself. Our technicians receive factory training directly through Mitsubishi Electric’s Elite Diamond Contractor program. Requirements also include documented customer satisfaction scores and minimum installation volume standards. We back that training with advanced diagnostic tools, including thermal imaging cameras, electronic leak detectors, and computerized system analyzers, so every installation is verified for rated efficiency before we leave your home.
